Early in the 11-12 NHL season, which Cody Hodgson rookies are around?
October 28, 2011.
To
date, Upper Deck has released three products, Victory, parallel crazy
Artifacts and O Pee Chee. Finally, Cody Hodgson has his long awaited
rookie cards this year. Here are the full list of his rookie cards so far.
The first
set released by UD this year includes Coho’s first ever RCs produced, in Victory.
The black parallel should be a tough chase. Things to watch out here
is the checklist card looks extrememly similar to his RC, so make sure
you know which is which before you grab his rc. New to this year are
the MVP inserts, with his MVP “rookie” also in the set. I will let you
guys decide if this is considered a rookie or not.
Victory RC #249 Checklist #250 Black Parallel #249 Black Cheklist Parallel #250 Red Parallel #249 Red Checklist Parallel #250 MVP #100
Unlike
previous years where every card in the set enough parallel cards to
give people headaches, this year UD has slim the count to only four.
His true rookie is numbered to 999 while there are only 3 parallels, including a limited auto version only numbered to five. Artifacts RC #195 #/999 Emerald Parallel #99 Spectrum Parallel #25 Black Autograph Parallel #5
Here
is the most confusing set released by Upper Deck so far. For some reason, Cody
Hodgson is included as a regular card in the base set.... but thats not
it, he also has a rookie card, giving him a dual appearance in the OPC
set. With that, all the parallels and retro cards are also doubled up.
At least the upside is he gets his first two jersey cards and a
signature card featuring him ripping it up for team Canada in the World
Juniors Championship.

So go out and get some Cody Hodgson rookies, we will update his rookie list once new products are released. In the Game has also a lot of pre rookie Cody Hodgson cards too, here is his Heroes and Prospects autograph from last year.
